Twelve Months on the Humboldt Coast

I've been photographing Humboldt County for more than 30 years, and this calendar is my way of putting the places I love on your wall every day of 2027. Every image was made here in Humboldt County, California.

Trinidad, Month After Month

Most of this year's calendar is Trinidad: the sea stacks, the quiet coves, the fog lifting off the water at first light, and the long gold light at the end of the day. These are the beaches I return to again and again, in every season and every kind of weather.

Water and Sky

Between the shorelines you'll find a Humboldt County waterfall tucked into the green of the North Coast, and an aurora photo, a reminder that even our foggy corner of California gets a night sky worth staying up for.
